I ordered a Standard Blooming Garden Basket priced $72.99 plus an $8.00 wire fee from teleflora plus a $17.00 rural delivery fee bringing the total to $103. The basket was to include an azalea plant, a yellow rose plant, an african violet plant and two different colors of green plants. It was to be a very colorful arrangement in a beautiful basket. For a colorful, varied, plant arrangement, $103 was not too much I thought. After I paid for the plants, the caveat stated that if my selection was unavailable a comparable quality and value would be delivered. What was delivered was an azalea plant---one color---with some ivory in a basket. Not comparable in quality, color scheme or quality. The arrangement of the plant an greenery were very haphazzard and nothing like what I had purchased. I had also e-mailed the Karmay store that if they had to make a substitution to call me and let me know and to send a photo. They did neither. They just threw the azalea plant together and delivered. It took a lot of calls to get a photo of what they delivered. They claimed they had to drive two hours from Jackson to Springport to get the flowers there. They claimed that an azalea plant was just as high quality as roses, azaleas, african violets and two plants in contrasting bright colors. They never offered any alternatives. They offered excuses and basically said, "like it or lump it." They claimed that there were no rose plants in season in Michigan. I asked them why they had advertised it on their web site if they basically did not have a plant like that to sell? She did not answer. I suggested she take it off the web site which she did. She basically admitted that she never did have the plant to sell in the first place. I feel that this was a fraudulent transaction. I would never have bought that azalea bush with ivey for $103. It was nothing like what was advertised. It was not of comparable quality or value at all---by anyone's standards except someone wanting a fast buck. I was really disappointed. I expected more. I would think that showing pictures of something you never had to sell would be illegal? Wouldn't it?????
